I actually started with a basic volume buildup, but went with the loop anyway.

this is actually quite compelling

when I read "Joke submission" I expected SO much worse

but this is actually a good song in its own right.

Dynamic, unpredictable, and energizing I like it a lot myself

Not your best

pretty good but there isn't as much going on in it as I would like.

seems very repetitive and I can only discern three layers of sound, needs more variety.

although repetitive, it is a good song beyond that

This is actually more of a restructuring of my first bowser's trap remix, I wanted to fix the voices to be not guitars and piano, but something more technoish

this song is amazing!

as you can tell by my ID, I love Metroid.
This song is amazing, totally sounds like it would be in one of the newer games.
the re-tuning came out very well, too.

about your genre:

you seem to favor ambient music, rather unusual for the sounds you use.
I suppose it could also be trance, but it might be too slow for that.
IMO your songs don't have much going on in them you should ad more levels of sound to your songs and maybe speed them up.

yeah, the only reason the instruments seem weird with the song is because i dont like using the same instrument in different songs unless i have to. your right, with most of my songs, speeding them up would make them 2 times better. maybe i will come back to this song and remake some parts. thanks for the review!

boosted the Bass I see
the voice samples get drowned out by everything else.
I'm not saying that it's a problem but I don't think it was your intention.
and IMO removing them wouldn't hurt the song.

to anyone voting while listening to this with a sound system without decent Bass output:
find a system with better Bass and listen to it again!

Actually, the voices were both an experiment, and a background noise, so I did mean for them to be drowned out, just not as much as the compiler made it drown. Unfortunately, I don't have a method of balancing it out any better than its current levels.

The note to voters: I agree, people don't give songs these enough credit, they think that their technology is perfect when they are probably using windows 95 as their OS, then they give a zero cuz flash don't work on their old dinosaur of a computer.

And I take the votes pretty seriously, in music submissions, I find anything less than 3.5 an insult. In flash, anything below 2.5 is an insult. Art, I'm not scouted

the only suggestion I have is to make the Bass louder so you get that "THIS IS IT!" feel

Meh, I made this song about 2 months ago.

There are actually a lot of songs that I haven't released here, usually cause they aren't good enough, but this one was the exception, I had forgotten to upload it, but hey, I got more time to play around with it.

It has potential

a good song but the repetitiveness and tempo bother me somewhat.

If you boost the tempo a little to make it about 1.25x as fast as it is now it would lend itself to being a more energizing song.

It could also use another sound coming in and out periodically to offset the repetitiveness.

Yeah I know, some songs I play them, and then forget they were playing, until I get a headache and realize "oh snap!"

I once had "Epixture" by theWeebl playing for about 6 hours straight without realizing, so weird, right O_o
